I have never believed that the cost of the coffin has anything to do with the dignity of the funeral or respect for the deceased. I always recommend the most sensible casket for the style of service requested. The Voyager came into existence because practical people constantly asked me for a simple alternative for cremation services that wasn't expensive nor wasteful. The Voyager is a lightweight, yet incredibly strong, unpolished casket made using the absolute minimum necessary materials. When the Voyager is used for a service, it is either covered with a soft velvet cloth pall, or placed inside a limited use polished casket as shown below.
